"Face it! You didn’t drive down that long road for no ordinary steak. You came for the King Daddy of Flavor, Tenderness, and …. Marbled beef! I made sure to stop by and get my FIX even though it was not on my route! Leaving Baxley after a week of fixing hotel room phone jacks I was slap worn out. I was ready to get back to my own hometown, Milner GA. But…not until I got my RIBEYE! It was late, it was slow, it was quiet, it was perfect! I didn’t know I could refill my own tea!!! "Honest review: Last time I had visited this place was 9 years ago. The food is so much better now!!! The steak, chicken tender, and frog legs was very good. Self served drink, which is cool. "This is a nice quiet steakhouse on the river. The food is great. The steak portions are huge. All of the steaks that came to our table were cooked exactly as we ordered them. It is a friendly, inviting, rustic atmosphere. My famly and I will definitely stop here again."

This evening on our way home we had the opportunity to stop by Benton Lee’s steakhouse to have dinner with Vickey. The road to Grey’s landing shimmered with happiness on our journey to one of the most unique and meaningful restaurants in our state. Nestled along the banks of the mighty and beautiful Altamaha, Benton Lee’s post a million dollar view over the slow currents of Georgia’s historic river. The rustic and calming atmosphere inside is only equaled by the outstanding service and extraordinary food. No frozen here, the hand-cut ribeyes and French fries sing with freshness. Only exceeded by the melodies of favors after being prepared just right. You cannot find another place or steak like this for the quality and price in our area. We left full, happy, and relaxed after being under the care of the quintessential southern lady who does a masterful job running this wonderful place."

"Ate there for the first time ordered a Steak not thinking about the size I ordered the large one lord it covered the whole plate wow . It was well done and tasted awesome the fries were very good didn't like cole skaw but it was good! Will come again . But will order the small steak lol ."

"Benton lee's is a wonderful place to dine weather it be yourself, family, or even date night! The food is absolutely delicious, some of the best steaks you could ever eat. The fries are also top tier and they taste homemade! The service is great right when you walk in the door with being greeted by the owner and the waitresses. They come pretty fast to your table to take your order and the food comes out in a reasonable time. It is also great to be self served your drinks that way you don't have to wait to get something to drink or bother the waitress if you are thirsty. Lastly the atmosphere is amazing ! While you dine you get to look out at the river and even watch the sunset sometimes. The inside is beautiful and very homey feeling with everything getting to look at and experience the memories on the walls. Overall Benton Lees is a top tier place for me and I live an hour away to come eat it's so good !"

"Great place to go for a well priced steak. You're not getting a ruth chris steak by any means but you are getting a very good flavored steak that is portion way beyond any other steak house (with the exception of big texan)for the price. The steak has a wood smoke flavored, good exactly how requested with a decent size of sides. The drinks was either can drinks or self service water or tea. The location sets on the river with a great view, large parking lot for room to park."
